Euphoria, an American teen drama TV series created by Sam Levinson based on the Israeli miniseries of the same name, is all set to return with a Season 2.
Zendaya-started Euphoria, before its release, was able to attract controversy with its bold and frank depiction of the high school world which is filled with love, sex, drugs, and violence. While many strongly condemned the plot for its over-sexualization, many others sided with it and appreciated it.
Trailer and Plot
The official trailer of Euphoria hasn’t been released yet. Although HBO at the beginning of the year released a 2020 preview trailer of all its upcoming shows, it merely gave us any hint.
The earlier season left us hanging with some questions, one of them being Rue’s death.
Did Rue actually die?
Rue indeed died due to overdose.
There are many instances that support this assumption. At the end of the episode, we see Rue walk home in tears after being abandoned by Jules. The situation gets worse when she’s neglected by her mother but embraced by her dad(and he disappears afterward). Rue’s last line about disappearing “into that good night” is not a positive sign at all.
The cast list hasn’t been disclosed either but it is safe to say, Zendaya, along with her co-stars Jacob Elcordi and Hunter Schafer, will return in Season 2 as well.
