Season Six- All Set?
Streaming Giant Netflix confirmed the return of the show for a brand new season. They were making all the fans jump in joy! The show premiered back in 2016 and had become a hit since then. Focusing on Queen Elizabeth’s life with pivotal characters along, the show makes you feel the political tension and responsibilities of being a queen and not just the luxuries.
Claire Foy took up the role of the Queen during the first two seasons. But was further replaced by Olivia Colman for the third and upcoming fourth, for the makers decided to bring in versatile actors from different age-groups to show the queen ageing and ruling!
Recently, the show’s official Instagram handle revealed that the fifth and sixth seasons. Elizabeth II will be enacted by Imelda Staunton, popularly known for playing Umbridge in the Harry Potter movie series.

Though there hasn’t been any trailer yet for the sixth season because even the fourth season hasn’t yet started airing, we wish to get it real soon!
Netflix teamed up with writer Peter Morgan and leading producers Left Bank Pictures and Sony Pictures Television since the start of the show and actors like Claire Foy and Olivia Colman for Queen Elizabeth II, Matt Smith and Tobias Menzies for the role of Prince Philip, Duke of Edinburgh, and Vanessa Kirby and Helena Bonham Carter as Princess Margaret, Countess of Snowdon.
Reportedly, the fourth season is going to be a thrilling watch with prominent features. Like Princess Diana and Prince Harry and Prince Williams which is going to make the fans asking for more.
