Rockstar North is the creator of the Grand Theft Auto series. And recently, we came across some news about his tax returns!
Now, people don’t scratch your head if you are still an amateur in the field of taxes and returns. We are here to help you.
What is the matter?
According to TaxWatch UK, Rockstar has recently applied for tax relief. It is reported that they have claimed a massive £37.6 million tax relief under Video Game Tax Relief Fund.
This large amount is for the production of Grand Theft Auto 6. And TaxWatch UK is fairly confident that the whole sum goes into for GTA 6.
In their report, they have included the reasons why they think so, the analysis behind it, and the past tax returns of Rockstar.
Not as if we were not already aware! However, further confirmation is welcome. And I don’t see anyone complain, duh!
When is the release?
Well, GTA 6 is rumored to be released soon. And some media houses report that Rockstar might be ‘pressurized’ to release it soon!
We have entered in 2020. GTA 5 was released back in 2013. That’s more than a 6-year gap we are looking at. Which is a lot of time to develop the next series of video games?
So late this year, or early next year, we will get Grand Theft Auto 6.
