The Storyline of Finding Alice
It’s a dream come true for the couple Harry (Jason Merrells) and Alice (Keeley Hawes) as they move into their dream home along with their daughter Charlotte (Isabella Pappas) that Harry himself had designed. But soon after the relocation into their new paradise, Harry is found dead below the flight of stairs. Alice is now left with questions and a bunch of obstacles to overcome. The police begin their investigation, and Alice appears to be their first target.
Soon after, it was realized that an encounter was made with Harry by an unidentified person, but his (yes ‘his’ because the person later turns out to be the illegitimate son of Harry named George) connection with the death of Harry was scrapped. The already tensed situation is worsened by Alice’s mom Sarah (Joanna Lumley) and dad Roger (Nigel Havers), along with Harry’s parents- mother Minnie (Gemma Jones) and dad Gerry(Kenneth Cranham)
The possession of the house becomes an issue as Alice and Harry didn’t share a legal relationship of marriage. Furthermore, Her in-laws inform her that the house was given to them by Harry to overcome the losses in business, and they now have to sell it. This exaggerates Alice’s problem further. Amidst all this chaos, the relationship between Alice and her daughter Charlotte starts to get tense, and they drift apart. To find out how Alice handles all the situations, you have to watch the series.
