Suppose if the populace of any country during colonial rule had to fight against an army of vampires. The same situation is being portrayed in the new AMC+ series “Firebite.” Created by Warwick Thornton, the “Firebite” is a brand new Australian TV series. The opening episode of the series was premiered on December 16, 2021, on the AMC+ video streaming service.
The series is set in a desolated mining town in the heart of the South Australian desert, where it revolves around the lives of two Aboriginal Australian predators Shanika and Tyson. Shanika and her rash legal guardian Tyson are the only walls between a swarm of vampires and the indigenous of Australia.

Unfortunately, the show is not available on Netflix, Hulu, HBO max, or any other online video streaming service provider other than AMC+. As earlier mentioned, the show is an AMC+ original so, one can only get the chance to watch it; if they’ve got an AMC+ subscription. Although the Australian drama series have popular celebrities, the series couldn’t perform as well as expected. This supernatural fantasy produced by Paul Ranford and Dena Curtis has earned 5.7 ratings out of 10 on IMDb, which is slightly disappointing.
The show has been rated 5 out of 10 on IGN. However, the series is still under review so that critics could be able to make a justifiable analysis.
