Many of us from our tender age were fond of sci-fi movies and characters like Iron Man, Captain America (super soldier), cyborgs, Black Widow, etc. Numerous other sci-fi video games are also present, like the 2001 “Halo”. Such sci-fi themes and their interesting storylines have made a thought-provoking impact on our minds.
They have presented us, humans, with a new AI-centric future. The question that arises here is how helpful these characters, like cyborgs and super-soldiers, are in saving human civilization. Or whether they will become the reason for human killings.
The 2001 Halo video game has some of the answers to our query. How Master Chief is going to be the savior remains in question. The good news for all Haloians is that the video game is going to get a new series.
Protagonist And Antagonist
In the video game-based series, which takes place in the year 2552 of the 26th century, an epic battle takes place. The battle for existence between humans and the Covenant (an alien beast) becomes the focal point here. The UNSC team sent the SPARTAN-II super-soldiers headed by the Master Chief, code-named John 117, to save humanity. Is it possible for John and his team to save humanity through them?
This high sci-fi adventurous series has premiered only in episode under the title “Contact”. The super-soldiers are highly trained professional cyborgs; Equipped with all the modern weapons to fight the aliens and keep humans safe. It is clear from the above who the protagonist and antagonist are. The super-soldiers become the heroes, and the aliens become the antagonists.
The story is not as blunt as it seems to be. The cyborgs, or super-soldiers, are initially recruited at a very tender age. They get training to be the perfect soldiers under the Spartans program. Later on, these people were injected with serums and made numb towards their feelings and emotions, turning them into super-soldiers. The best part was that it was controlled. This is how a part of humanity was killed within them.
Killing human emotions to create and transform their power into weapons is something that makes them on the wrong side.
So often, they may look like the antagonist.
What Powers Do They Hold?
The heavily blue and golden armor suit that Master Chief (Pablo Schreiber) wears, has modern weapons and technologies. They are upgraded and lethal.
Halo infinite equipment gives an advantage on the battlefield. There are returning abilities such as Thrusters. Grappleshot, the Drop Wall is a way shield that you can throw out and use as a cover. Then Repulsor, the ultimate grenade, and close-quarters repellent.
All these have helped the Spartans to win over their enemy, but the most important thing being the humanity, their belief which they have earned.
Skip It Or Stream It?
For all Haloian lovers, it’s a must-watch series. The action will become real and the universe will expand. This adventurous military-based series is a milestone for sci-fi movies with awesome CGI ad graphics along with the acting.
The AI character Cortona (Jen Taylor) makes the game so much real. Another must – to watch thing will be for the Bollywood cinema lovers where Shabana Azmi will also mesmerize her with her acting as Admiral Margaret Paragonsky.
