The action-drama series Hanna has been penned and made by David Farr for Amazon Prime Video. It is inspired by the movie of the same name that came out in 2011. The first season of the series was aired back in 2019, the second one is 2020, and the third installment this year in November.
Farr has executively produced the show along with JoAnn Alfano, Andrew Woodhead, Tom Coan, Marty Adelstein, Scott Nemes, Tim Bevan, Eric Fellner, and Becky Clements. The show stars Esme Creed-Miles and Mireille Enos in the major roles. Since its third season is out, fans are all curious to know when season 4 be out, and we have all the news in this regard for you.
Is Season 4 of Hanna on Cards?
With its spectacular action and thriller three-season story, it is obvious for fans to speculate about season 4. But here’s the deal- season 3 has officially terminated the series, and expect it to return for the fourth season will not yield any fruit. The last season did not leave any space for cliffhangers or doubts as it beautifully gave the conclusion to Hanna’s story that we were anticipating.
So season 4 naturally cannot continue in any way. Yes, we are also equally dejected as you are but ending this outstanding show on this note is worthy enough of a decision.
When will Season 4 of Hanna Release?
As stated above, season 3 was officially the last installment in the Hanna series, so season 4 will not be made anymore. It wasn’t an abrupt ending to show but rather a planned decision by creator David Farr. He added that all three installments cover all the crucial parts of Hanna’s life- from childhood to adolescent time, and eventually, she got relief from her past trauma.
The show had a clear opening and an ending, which has to be respected by the audience and the makers. Thus, it becomes unlikely that season 4 of Hanna will be created. But we never know when a spinoff movie can come our way!! Let’s keep hoping for that, atleast.
What Happened in Season 3’s Finale?
The finale of the previous season has managed to keep the viewers on the edge of their seats. In an intense scene, we see Hanna being protected by Marissa from the ones who want to end her life. The duo realizes that they share a deep connection, just like a mother and a daughter, and this scene gives an emotional ode to their bond.
But injured Marissa takes her last breath, and Hanna is seen moving on in her life with a heavy heart and settles in Boston. She is seen bidding adieu to Nadiya and Abbas as she decides to live on her own in the new city. The end was beautifully depicted, and the series managed to cover every element from choosing what’s truly right or wrong to self-discovery and parental dynamics.
Where to Watch Hanna’s Season 3?
The show aired with all its six episodes of season 3 on Amazon Prime Video on November 24, 2021. Each episode has a watch time of roughly 45 to 55 minutes and can be binge-watched right away!
