Ae-Ri, crushed by her grief and realizing that she would die eventually, rushes to the sea to die, but Gyo-bin manages to save her.
Ae-ri cries with him to let her do it, telling him that he must look after Ni-no and that she is going to die anyhow. He tried a lot to save her, but the current and waves of the oceans were very strong. Finally, after a long struggle, they both got drowned in the sea and died together. Eun-Jae offers Ni-no the seashell bracelet, stating it was his mom’s last farewell.
Ni-no steps out onto the roadway, and a van narrowly misses him. His mother and father were on the opposite side of the street, strolling together. Everyone believes they were safeguarding their son from harm. Ae-letter ri’s to Eun-Jae directs her to lay her ashes on the ocean where Eun-Jae nearly drowned.
So-hee and Lady Min decided to fly to America jointly. Lady Min hands out the paperwork for Ha-jo to retake ownership of Cheonji Building structures. While scattering the ashes, Gun-woo stumbles into Eun-Jae. He later apologized for hurting her feelings and swears not to do it again. Eun-Jae, he says, should be his wife.
