Expected Plot
The second episode of Yumi’s Cells showed that Yumi was finally getting comfortable with the way her life was moving ahead. She had finally made her mind up to leave her past relationship behind and hope to have a better love life with somebody who’d see the best in her. Her Love cell had initially came back, though nothing went as per the plan.
The date was nearly ruined, and later Yumi got to know that Ugi was planning to set her up with his Hyung. This came as a psychological shock to her, and the cells town was flooded, leaving Yumi heartbroken. By the end of the episode, her love and the deep feeling cell could be seen left aghast on an island.
The preview of the third episode came out recently, and it suggested that there was still hope for Yumi to fall in love again, more importantly, to feel again. It showed the initial chemistry between our lead main couple. And as the saying goes, Yumi is slowly overcoming all her past experiences and starting to live again. Her significant other, Goo Woong, seems to be enjoying their first date too much; he doesn’t want it to end. The romance is likely to bloom with freshness once again.

A similar kind of movie showing the journey of a pre-teen from the eyes of her emotional avatars, named Inside-Out, was released long back and was loved immensely.
