Recap
The previous episode of the series was named “The Five Hundredth Episode,” which was released on October 21, 2021. It marked the series completing the release of 500 episodes till date, which was a great achievement for a spin-off series. We see Olivia thinking back about her mom while she drops her son to school in this episode. We then see the return of an old character, Nick. Along with Nick, we see Burton Lowe, who was a person Olivia liked previously.
They are together in a case that took place in the past and put the wrong man in jail. So they open up the case once again and use the latest technology to determine, and they indeed find the true killer. Just when Olivia thought everything is fine, Burton is accused of rape by an intern who worked for him 10 years back. Slowly, more women join the girl in her accusations.
Olivia and Burton meet and have an argument, but Burton convinces her that he hasn’t done any such thing. As the episode reaches its end, Olivia realizes her mother protected her from Burton when she was young.
Plot Speculations
As the title suggests, there is going to be something about disappearance. Since the next episode is said to have a case like never before, that means it includes a serial killer this time. A teenage sex worker is reported missing, and the detectives find a clue in the missing person’s reports. With all these new elements, we can expect a lot of situations to take place in the next episode.
