It’s disheartening to know that our most favorite Bailiff will no longer be seen in the show where he served almost 25 years. Recently, Peter Hawkins Byrd was serving as the bailiff of Judge Judy Sheindlin in the famous CourtRoom Drama TV Show.
Judge Judy told the media that he was priced out from the show without any formal notice. While he was treating his wife Makita Bond Byrd, the producer of Judge Judy Show and suffering from malignant Brain Tumor Cancer.
It was alleged that the entire bench was evacuated as Judy Sheindlin decided to go solo for the new season to premiere on November 1, 2021. The more pathetic fact is that Peter Hawkins Byrd, who was considered to be the chaperon of Justice Judy, was also evacuated even after serving without any complaints for 25 years. Peter wasn’t even asked for the new show, which would premiere on November 1, 2021, on Amazon Prime Video and IMDB TV.
Peter added that he wasn’t even allowed to present himself or give any sort of audition for the upcoming show. He added that he came to know about the new show just like the normal people; he wasn’t given any formal opportunity letter or a notice of evacuation. By the time he knew about the show, he was taking care of his ailing wife, Makita Bond Byrd, who was suffering from malignant cancer, and a tumor was detected in her brain.
Her surgery was done, and 95% of the tumor was removed in the third chemotherapy session, and at that time, she was rehabilitating. After getting the news of the new show, Peter asked Judy Sheindlin if he needed to look for another job or was still hired. He came to know that he was “priced out,” and Judy explained that his salary was higher than any other bench member.
Peter Hawkins Byrd went on to add that she didn’t even consider him for a low paycheck as he was willing to do in a lower salary. To this whole news, Judy’s spokesperson on behalf of her posted that Peter Hawkins Byrd was phenomenally talented, hardworking, and terrific all throughout this past 25 years. However, the new show is an entirely different concept with a new cast and an exceptionally high energy and adrenaline rush.
Well, for Peter Hawkins Byrd, it’s just like a Quinine Bitter tablet to swallow after his uncompromising hard work and dedication for the last 25 years. He’s letting it sink in and believes that the Almighty has some better plans for him in the future. He doesn’t let any grudges for her ex-boss to conquer his mind, and he claims that he has professionally moved on to seek some better opportunities.
Everything has settled down between Judy Sheindlin and Peter Hawkins Byrd, and they understand the fact that the industry keeps on changing; it’s not stagnant. They both are looking forward to accomplishing bigger ambitions in their respective careers, and good luck to both of them.
