Most Marvel followers were happy simply hearing that Taika Waititi will come to helm the upcoming Thor film. But they were happier when Portman confirmed her surprise appearance in the MCU during this year’s San Diego Comic-Con.

How Did She Prepare Herself For The Role?
Portman is excited about Jane Foster’s new job in the MCU, and she’s done a lot of homework. Since she has played Jane as a researcher and Thor’s love attraction. she has never truly wielded the hammer — or the burden that comes with being among the MCU’s primary characters.

What is the Story About?
Jane Foster, Thor’s former girlfriend, and astrophysicist entered New Asgard while dealing with cancer, and her life was permanently transformed. Surprisingly, the shattered parts of Mjolnir, the thunder god’s hammer, converted her into the Mighty Thor. Along with that Thor’s capabilities to combat domestic and foreign dangers were also on point. She was a divine defender, carrying Mjolnir herself, and a fresh superhero had been created!
The Mighty Thor battled the powerful Gorr, the God Butcher, with the assistance of Thor, Valkyrie, and the Guardians of the Galaxy. Gorr, who has been possessed supernatural abilities, got motivated to purge the cosmos of gods anywhere he encountered them. Jane Foster has been immersed in an intense fight with loads of passion.
We must wait for formal clarification from Marvel before treating this storyline information as MCU canon. We anticipate that the plot will parallel a storyline from the comics.
