In its 12th week, Strictly Come Dancing 2021 saw some tough performances ahead of judges to make their decisions on. Aj with Kai, Rhys with Nancy, Rose with Giovannia and John with Johannes were seen facing off each other in the semi-finals of the reality dance show.
Towards the end, Rhys Stephenson and Nancy Xu and John Whaite and Johannes Radebe were left to face off. The former duo chose to go for Samba on It Had Better Be Tonight by Michael Bubléwhile the latter opted for Jive.
But unfortunately, the act of Rhys and Nancy wasn’t up to the mark to impress the judges. After the respective performances, the votes of the judges, Mosti Mabuse, Anton du Beke and Craig Revel Horwood, made John Whaitesafe while Rhys Stephenson had to go home. Head judge Shirley Ballas also revealed that her decision would also be the same as the judges.

With Rhys being eliminated ahead of the finale and John being saved by the collective votes of the judges, now the ones making their way into the finale are AJ Odudu with Kai Widdrington, John Whaite with Johannes Radebe and Rose Ayling-Ellis with Giovanni Pernice.
The three will be giving each other tough competition in the final episode that is scheduled to air on December 18, 2021, on BBC One at 7.00 pm. It will be interesting to see who will finally lift the title for the nineteenth series this year.
