In the last episode, ‘Stone Roadblock,’ the team enquires further into the metallic substance. They scientifically analyze it and find traces of various metallic elements like gold, silver, pyrite, copper, and iron. They also unearth osmium, which is a very rare element. After 224 years, it seems that the long-pending Oak Island mystery is nearing the chance of being solved. As they dig up B4, the new borehole, they do not find anything of consequence.
Another long effort at the Southeast part leads them to discover a stone structure, which could possibly take them to Money Pit. The team is stopped short from entering specific areas, and Marty gets disheartened over it.
