A plot of The invitation 2022
Evie (Nathalie Emmanuel) decides to get a DNA test after the loss of her mother and all of her other known relatives. She discovers that she has a long-lost family that she was previously unaware of and had no idea that they were linked.
Evie was originally attracted by a seductive aristocratic hostess when she attended a stunning English rural wedding at the invitation of a newly discovered family. The wedding was placed in a picturesque area, and she was invited by a newly found family.
Nevertheless, she bears with her the dark, twisted secrets of her family’s past as well as her own awful background
. When you disclose your intentions to others, you will not have much time to prepare for the nightmare that continues to exist. A generosity that approaches the threshold of vice.
As she finds the dark mysteries of her family’s past and the disturbing motivations behind their wicked generosity, she is pushed into a nightmare of survival. She is invited by her new family to a magnificent English countryside wedding, where she is first attracted by the attractive aristocratic host.

This film was directed by Jessica M. Thompson (The Light of the Moon) and was adapted from a story she and Blair Butler (True Haunting; Polaroid; Hellfest) co-wrote, which was only distantly based on Bram Stoker’s novel Dracula. Emile Gladstone was the producer of the picture.
For this production, Michael P. Flannigan and Jessica M. Thompson acted as executive producers.
Nathalie Emmanuel (Game of Thrones), Thomas Doherty, Stephanie Corneliussen (Legion series), Alana Boden, Courtney Taylor, Hugh Skinner (Tell-Tale Heart 2019; Day of the Dead 2008), and Sean Pertwee are among the actors in the Mid Atlantic Films and Screen Gems co-production (The Reckoning; Howl; Wilderness; Dog Soldiers).

Given the prominence of the business, it was only a matter of time before a film used it as a background. It was only a matter of time until a film used the horror genre to explore the many enticing and horrifying possibilities of tracing one’s Ancestry.
