The real question is if Tom would like to play another game-adapted movie. After being pressed on this topic by GameSpot, Tom gave a hint that he would like to make a Jack and Daxter movie. Jack and Daxter are a game made by Naughty Dog which had a trilogy for the ps2 platform and many spin-offs. He wants to play Jack but wants A24 to be a part of the movie, so it is made in a dark and weird aspect. Furthermore, he wants the movie to be a live-action one.
With A24s hands currently full at the moment with other movies like adaptations of novels of Shuggie Bain and the Sympathizer, the talk about Jack and Dexter won’t be any good for Tom. However, even without the movie he wants to play, Tom has pretty good movies coming out, like Starring in the spy thriller Beneath a Scarlet Sky, and he is also most likely to come back as Spider-Man after his amazing performance in No Way Home, indicating that his future is more than secure.
