What Happened to Andrew Lee?
With heavy heart, we are sharing this news with you that The star radio host of Twin Cities, Andrew Lee, unexpectedly passed away over the weekend. His death news was broken by his co-host Jon Justice. He made this announcement from a hospital room at the University of Minnesota. The reason for the announcement from the hospital was that he recently had open-heart surgery and was recovering from it. The co-host of the Justice and Drew show announced, saying, “He (Andre Lee) was with his wife at the time. I hopefully will be coming home sometime today, but I had asked that I be the one to make this devastating and tragic announcement to you.” He further added “Drew was my best friend. He was your friend, and I don’t need to tell you how special he was. It goes without saying that I’m devastated, and he will be tragically missed. Everybody here at iHeart is grieving. We ask for your prayers for Drew’s family as they get through this difficult time.”
Jon Justice even tweeted Lee’s demise and shared his sadness. He tweeted “I cannot wait to get home to Melinda, my boy Kyle and Logan, and my dog Artemis. But I’m dreading this finally sinking in. I loved Drew so much, can’t believe he’s gone, and I won’t just be able to text him, call him and do our show together anymore.” He tweeted with a picture of Andre Lee. He further tweeted by giving information that he was talking with him over texts and joking mere hours leading to his death.

Who Was Andrew Lee?
Andrew Lee was a well-known and liked radio presenter in Twin Cities. He hosted alongside Jon Justice the popular and fun show called Justice and Drew Show. He has served as a program director for Entercom from 1999 to 2017. He then worked at Journal Broadcast Group as a program director, followed by receiving the title of executive producer at iHeartMedia where he looked after KTLK-AM.

The reaction of the fans immediately poured in as soon as Justice shared about the death of his dear friend. The fans were shocked to hear the news, and they shared their condolences and prayers for the family and Andrew. The Station’s Program Director, Chad Abbott, also poured in his sadness and said that “we are deeply saddened by the loss of Drew Lee, the AM show host of Justice and Drew on Twin Cities Newstalk AM 1130, KTLK, along with the entire iHeart team, offers our deepest sympathy to his family, friends and loyal listeners at this very difficult time.
