About the Movie
This classic Chrismast move is an animated show which was released in the year 1965. The movie was produced by Lee Mendelson, and it’s based on a popular comic which is called Peanuts.
The plot revolves around a boy called Charlie who was depressed when it was nearly Christmas, and the others boys were having a wonderful time. With the exception of Charlie, that is. Charlie is unhappy about the seasonal festival while the others are enjoying skating, tossing snowballs, and exchanging Christmas cards.
Charlie confessed in Linus on their way to join his buddies for the Christmas holiday, that he is still gloomy. After Linus’ scolding and Violet’s reprimand, he goes to Lucy’s psychological tent and tells her about his problems. To get him interested, she offers that he lead the party’s Xmas play, to which he agrees. The movie further shows how Charlie explores the true joy of Christmas.

This year you can watch this movie on Television exclusively for one night so make sure not to miss it. Earlier, it was used to broadcast every year on the ABC network for kids, but sadly, this year, it’s not the case. But still, you can enjoy this movie on the PBS app. This movie will be aired live for children this Sunday, which is December 19, on PBS and PBS kids platform at 7.30 according to the Eastern Time.

Unfortunately, you can’t watch or enjoy this movie on Hulu Tv or Netflix. The movie is also not available for rent on Google Play or iTunes. Fans can only watch and stream this movie on Apple TV+ with the subscription plans. Last year, Apple offered viewers to stream and enjoyed the movie for free as a Christmas offer without any subscription. But, it does not seem to be the case this year.

The majority of the voice artists were chosen from the producer’s own community. Many of the child actors couldn’t read the lines since they were too small. Melendez and Schulz planned to feature youngsters in the program to capture their purity and innocence, feeling that this would create the animation more genuine, as well as humorous and cool.
When the film crew learned that a few of the kids were too young to read the text that was next to them, their project came to a halt as the show makers tried to capture the genuine beauty and joy of Christmas, even after five deceased watching this movie gives pure happiness and bliss to the viewers.
