What Is the Film About?
As mentioned earlier, the film consists of a story that is romantic, thriller, and crime at the same time. The storyline basically revolves around David Marks and Katie McCarthy who gets married later on in the story. David is the son of a wealthy real estate tycoon whereas Katie is just a normal working-class student.
When they both get married, they shift to the city of New York. There they open up a health food store together, which was named All Good Things. After some time they both return to their original hometown. But upon returning Katie was interested in having children.
David didn’t like the idea and made it clear that he didn’t want any children right now. But no one can change the destined. After some time Katie shares with her neighbor that she is pregnant and is expecting a baby.
But when Katie shares this happy news with David, he responds very aggressively. He starts throwing things here and there and then breaks down for he was not ready to be a parent. Later on, David convinces Katie for an abortion and on the day of the abortion appointment, he couldn’t make it to the doctor for he got very much occupied with his work for his boss Sanford.
The story then makes the audience witness the ups and downs that David and Katie had to go through and in between a murder case also pops up. So basically the film is a complete thriller which is interesting enough to make the audience indulge the whole time.
