Since this is a Netflix original, we can assume it to be available on the platform for sure. Other than this, we know for a fact that Amazon Prime will not purchase it. However, like its previous seasons, it could be available on Hulu and HBO Max.
Just three days back, Netflix put out a trailer on YouTube, which was merely 31 seconds long, for season 4 of one of their most popular shows, Stranger Things. Bizarre theories have already started coming up to the surface of various platforms, particularly YouTube, Instagram and Reddit, for the up and coming season 4 of Stranger Things. However, this trailer did its job affirming that Season 4 will make its awaited appearance in 2022. This is, at the slightest (since the release date hasn’t been confirmed yet, it could very well be December), two and a half years delay since they came out with Season 3 of the show.
A deeper meaning from the released trailer might be inferred (observe it over 10 replays), highlighting classic minutes from the already existing three seasons of Stranger Things blended with a new plotline. Some new features that came to the attention of the views were a strange-looking clock, a new demon, and the background highlighted a circus or a theme park. The mystery, moreover, will be discussed today in the evening time amid NBC’s Tokyo Olympics screening. The trailer, which was released recently, could be seen as a continuation to the one they had previously released a year back.
Next Season Updates
The first-seen Season 4 trailer was then released on February 14, 2020, and it prodded on the return of David Harbour’s character – Hopper. The new trailer, which they released in 2021, focuses more on El, and it is no surprise that the previous one was more widely accepted since it took on to the story of a beloved character who we had all, till now, presumed to be dead. Also revealed in the new trailer, we see a return of Dr. Martin Brenner, played by Matthew Modine (the evil man who ran the institute which kidnapped and took advantage of Eleven’s and many other children’s powers).
Just one month after Stranger Things began its shooting of Season 4 in February 2020, it was suspended due to the rising coronavirus cases worldwide. It started again and continued for a little while in September until the second wave of COVID-19 hit us, and the production had to be out to a halt yet again.
