The Smurfs is an American entertaining animated film by Sony Pictures Animation. It is a 3D live film and the first-ever animated film by Sony. This film is said to be based on a Belgium comic named The Smurfs by Peyo Productions. It had three seasons. Season 4 is expected to be released. Season 4 will also be based on The Smurfs comic. It will be directed by William Renaud and written by Peter Saisselin and Amy Serafin.
The series is expected to be released on Nickelodeon or maybe on Netflix, and we are not sure about it. It is a story about a little blued-colored creature who used to live in a mushroom. They are the protagonist of the story.
The expected dates for the release of Smurfs 4 is assumed to be 2024, December 20th. And you can guess it, it will be a Christmas gift for us fans. Or in the words of Sheldon Cooper, it will be the Saturnalia present. Moreover, we are totally rooting for our favorite shade of blue smurfs.
Is Smurfs 4 Coming or not.
It is a long time when Smurfs producer has released its sequel. Smurfs: The Lost Village was the last film they released in 2017. Since then, fans were eagerly waiting for another season. Now it is officially confirmed that Smurfs will have season 4, though there is no official release date yet; we will get to know that shortly. We are not sure if the production begins or not, but we hope production begins as soon as possible so that the release may not face any delays due to an ongoing pandemic or any other reason.
Expected Cast
Whenever Smurfs come, it is for sure that we may see those little blue colored characters once again. Papa Smurf used to be the head of Smurfs. He used to see to the safety of other Smurfs. Suppose anybody used to face any difficulty they used to contact papa Smurfs. Smurfette was the only lady Smurf in their group. Brainy was an expert in everything. He was the second commander after papa Smurf. Hefty is the most loving Smurf. He had a crush on Smurfette. When Smurfette was asked to whom she will marry, she said she would marry Hefty.
Clumsy is the most sensitive and cheerful Smurf. He was a little ignorant and slow but was very good in nature. Lazy Smurf, as the name suggests, he was the laziest. He could sleep anywhere and anytime. And many more Smurf could be seen in the upcoming season.
Story Till Now
Season 1
In season 1, we saw that Smurf was troubled by wizard Gargamel. And they suddenly fall into the human world from their magical village. The whole story is based on papa Smurf saving other Smurfs from evil as he wanted to make them slaves or eat them. So that Smurfs tell him their magic secrets.
Season 2
With the help of their human friends, the Smurfs group is planning to rescue Smurfette (who is seized by Gargamel). Gargamel creates some Smurfs creature (named Naughties) to know Smurf’s magic secret. But then he learned that only real Smurf knows the magic secret, and only Smurfette can convert Naughties into real Smurf; he kidnaps her and takes her to Paris. And rest story is based on how to rescue.
Season 3
Each Smurfs was living happily, and Smurfs created by Gargamel was converted into real Smurfs. However, Smurfette still wanted to fulfill her life’s purpose and takes some of her Smurf to find the lost village. And then the whole story is based on this.
As you can tell, we all are eagerly waiting for the release of the Smurfs 4. It has been long, and we also miss new productions of it. However, the release dates are out and is assigned for December 20th, 2024. It will be a long wait, but we can surely manage this much for our favorite childhood animated creation.
