The Umbrella Academy – the series that released its first season in 2019, is heading towards its third season. The series “The Umbrella Academy,” which was renewed for a third season last year in November, has finally finished the filming process. The third season of the series will also have ten episodes like the previous seasons.
The series received a high IMDb rating of 8.0, which just proves that the show is popular. It’s probably one of the best superhero series. The series was adapted from a comic book, has the same name, and was written by Gerard Way.
Plot
The basic storyline of the series is that a billionaire adopts a number of children and raises them according to his ways. These children have some of the other superpowers, and the father establishes a name for them – The Umbrella Academy. These seven children help fight crime happening in and around the place.
They are then seen fighting against time to stop an apocalypse, but unfortunately, they couldn’t stop it. They then face it head-on and try their best to win it. After everything is done, they return to The Umbrella Academy, only to find out that their father has built another army of superheroes consisting of seven children. They are going to go with the name – The Sparrow Academy.
Expected Plot
In the third season, we can expect to learn about the children’s powers in The Sparrow Academy. We can expect to learn more about them in detail and how they came into being.
Expected Cast
All the main cast members from the previous season will be seen in the third installment of The Umbrella Academy. The previous season’s cast is David Castañeda playing the role of Diego, Robert Sheehan playing the role of Klaus, Tom Hopper playing the role of Luther, Emmy Raver-Lampman as Allison, Aidan Gallagher playing the role of Five, and Elliot Page playing the role of Vanya. Justin H. Min is seen playing Ben Hargreeves, but it won’t be the Ben we all know.
Apart from the prevailing Actors and actresses, there have been a number of additions in the third season. The officials have already given out the titles of all ten episodes. The first episode is titled “Meet the family,” which might indicate that it will show us the faces of children of The Sparrow Academy, or it might indicate that The Sparrow Academy children get to know more about the children of The Umbrella Academy.
As for updates on the trailer or release date of the series, there is still no information available. But since the filming process is wrapped up, we might get a trailer at least by the end of this year.
