Summer Higgins, an environmental activist, has arrived new in town and comes with the team to the Livestock Commission office, Livingston, to lead the protest. The protestors start to pelt stone, and the situation gets uglier; John Dutton is called upon to arrive at the scene.
John and Summer face a clash as she bravely confronts him. She clearly cites how the police department is protecting the industrialization of animal farming as these animals are getting slaughtered in millions.
John asks to press charges and teaches her the art and methods of quinoa farming. John Dutton is always in awe of people who are capable of standing up for their views. Hence, he is the one who seeks Summer’s bail. He tells her that even though he intensely disagrees with her viewpoint, he has the utmost respect for her. He also offers her an invitation to Yellowstone to get a chance to grasp each other’s stand.
Rip Vs. Lloyd
Rip has kept Lloyd in his doghouse since the fight with Walker had broken out. Rip had taken his colt away, run various errands around Yellowstone, and coaxed to ride a mare. When it catches John’s attention, he sends out a cautionary message, reminding him not to forget who Lloyd is to them. Beth also decides to become a part of Market Equities. She is seeking revenge against her previous boss, which drives her decision to take up the job.
The Comeback Of Jamie’s Past
The final moment of the previous episode, “Under A Blanket of Red,” marks the arrival of Jimmy to the Four Sixes Ranch. The new surrounding confuses him, and he decides to sleep on a bench but wakes up when he overhears the old men’s conversations.
