The episode titled What Lies Behind initially showcased the somewhat confused feelings of Lois towards Natalie and drew some attention to the past of Lois where she shared a miserable bond with her own mother because she left the Lane family on their own years ago.
But her husband Clark reassures her that the case isn’t the way she thinks it to be. Meanwhile, we also see Superman clashing with Lt. Mitch Anderson, where the latter believes that there can be more than one Superman in the country. The episode presented to us a pair of super-powered recruits that were useful during one of the rescue missions of the mine explosion.
