Lauren Ridloff was born in 1978, on 6th April. She was born in Chicago. Her parents were just as fine as any ordinary pair but they had given birth to this girl child, deaf by birth. Her father was a musician and her mother was an artist by profession.
The parents came to know that the child is unable to hear anything, only when she was about 2 years old. Before that, the parents of Lauren thought that there were some developmental delays in the child. Soon they took up the classes for sign language to help their daughter out and she did perform really well in school too.

Her career
She performed her first role in “ Sign Gene: the first deaf superheroes “ Though it was a small role, she still aced it. After that there was actually no stopping for her, she aced up many roles in the shows and movies.
She has appeared in the Marvel movie, Eternals, as the superhero Makkari. She’s the first deaf superhero in the marvel family and she sure does have a really long way to go now.

Lauren is a very strong woman and an inspiration to many, she has overcome the biggest weaknesses in her life. Hence proving her worth. She took hold of global fame and made sure that she stood strong amongst those who could speak but still not get their message delivered.

How did she meet him?
It’s a sixteen-year-long relationship but still can’t express their story in words. It came as a surprise to them as it came for us as well. They met each other during their college days. As Lauren stated, she was going to California State University and one fine day, Douglas came up to her door in order to find one of his friends and Lauren happened to live there itself. And it’s a coincidence that the friend that Douglas was looking for was actually Lauren’s previous boyfriend!
Later an introduction through mutual friends led them to start their journey together. Since then, they weren’t meant to be seen without each other.
