Back in the year 1909, an expedition takes place which is led by Captain EjnarMikkelsen. Ejnar is a polar explorer and is widely popular for his Greenland expeditions.

Ejnar left behind his crew in the ship and he sled across the ice with just one member, Iver Iverson. Now here’s the story, Iver was the inexperienced one.
What is the Story About?
The story is about two explorers who fight to survive when left alone on an expedition to Greenland.
Set in the Arctic, we see a man sledding back to save himself and when he reaches his shipmates we get to know that he is Jorgensen. He’s covered with frostbites and the weather is very harsh outside but he is able to make his way back. But that’s just the start of the dangers on their path.
Ejnar’s Determination
Ejnar is the captain of this expedition and he is hell-bent on finding a Cairn from the former Danish expedition. Now, this Danish expedition has proof that an island strip is legally under Denmark and not the United States. But the United States wishes to grab on this opportunity and seize the land under the claim that it does not belong to anybody.
Is it Based on a True Story?
Definitely. Yes, it is. And the movie here sugarcoats nothing. It gives you a very clear view of how ruthlessly the dogs are treated here, especially when they are of no use.
