This is Us, is a heartwarming family romance drama series. With six seasons, 18 episodes each, the show is a ride for sure. It makes grown men sob like babies and then fill your heart with so much love, you don’t know what to do with that.
Will There Be A Season 7 For This Is Us?
It is disheartening to inform, being an avid fan myself, that the show is not going to have a season 7, at least not in the foreseeable future. The sixth season premiering right now is titled The final chapter. The creators made it clear that the sixth season is the end as the show has been canceled and concluded.
Even though we never know with that big of a fan base and the amount of love the fans have for the show, is enough for season 7. The trailer and posters for the last episode also state the series finale. As much as it is sad there won’t be new seasons after that, we can still keep our fingers crossed that somehow it changes, or at least a reboot a couple of years later would be perfect.
About The Show
The show is a tale about a family, their pasts, presents, and futures, The Pearsons. Jack and Rebecca Pearson are imperfect people who are perfect for each other. The series is about life in the past and simultaneously their kids, the triplets, and “the big three” go through their lives and other things. These are three different generations of a family, their struggles, the ups and downs, and everything in between.
The big three, Kevin, Kate, and Randall are just like any other siblings. They fight, makeup, and always have each other’s back. Randall is not the triplet as due to complications during the birth, Jack and Rebecca’s third child died so they decided to adopt the black infant in the hospital.
There is also Beth, Randall’s wife, and Toby, Kate’s spouse, and their lives. Well with so many different characters and such great writing, the show is about a lot of things but majorly it’s about family, love, tragedy, heartbreak, forgiveness, and healing.
The Cast And Crew
The show has an amazing cast which includes, Milo Ventimiglia as Jack Pearson, and Mandy Moore as Rebecca Pearson née Malone. Additionally, Chrissy Metz as Kate Pearson, Chris Sullivan as Toby Damon, and Ron Cephas Jones as William Hill are there. Everyone does a splendid job.
Dan Fogelman is the creator of multiple producers. Siddhartha Khosla contributed to the music department along with other brilliant crew members.
Season 6: The Final Chapter
This is gonna be a highly emotional end to a highly emotional series. Considering the bucket of tears the viewers cried over the years is going to be nothing in comparison to the end of the show. The show is never predictable, the jumps into the past and future make it so interesting and never boring. This miniature voyage of real life would be missed by all. All the loose ends are tied by the end of this season of ‘This is Us’.
