On July 14, 2022, Resident Evil will release only via Netflix; which will be the sole streaming service at the time. There has not been any statement made about any intentions for a physical distribution as of yet; this may be depending on how well the audience responds to the new series.
What We Know About Resident Evil
The zombie fiction genre is making a comeback, and Resident Evil is leading the charge. The roughness, gore, and intense action-packed campiness of Resident Evil is largely responsible for the franchise’s enduring popularity; and legendary status in the world of video games. The results of Netflix’s adaptation of the Resident Evil franchise are fascinating to say the least.
The first five successful games are all set in and around the fictitious metropolis of Raccoon City; which is located in the middle of the United States and is where the villainous Umbrella Corporation conducts biological research. The T-virus, which is a mutagenic chemical, is the agent behind all of the zombies and other creatures that are on the hunt for the heroes.
The Raccoon City Police Department has a special operations section called S.T.A.R.S; and some of the characters in the story are members of this organization.
Other characters, however; are just regular people who have been drawn into the proceedings by outside forces. These ideas and discussions are going to be included into Resident Evil.
Who Is In the Cast Of Resident Evil?
Lance Reddick, who previously portrayed the enigmatic Charon in the John Wick film series; will now take on the role of the series’ main adversary, Albert Wesker. Since he has worked in the action movie White House Down as well as the video game Horizon Forbidden West;
He is not new to the world of games or action movies. In addition, the cast features Billie and Jade Wesker from the show; “Run Sweetheart Run,” as well as Ella Balinska from “Charlie’s Angels” (No Good Nick, Upside Down Magic).

Throughout the course of the story, two distinct years will pass. In 2022, biotechnologist Albert Wesker and his daughters Billie and Jade will migrate to New Raccoon City. In the middle of the chaos, Billie faces a mysterious and horrifying destiny.
In the year 2036, the zombie apocalypse has destroyed the human population to the point that just 15 million individuals, including Jade, survive. If Billie and Albert Wesker, the guy who organized this crisis and whose fate is unknown; are still alive, what more does she wish to accomplish but merely survive?
