But, as their photos surfaced, it looked that the couple was not particularly very happy but rather very glum. However, it may not come as a surprise that the lingering glumness is a direct outcome of the scandal that is now a part of the public consciousness. The couple, early Tuesday, went out for a light stroll on the very elite beach in Amagansett, New York.
While one may try to escape their past, it comes back to haunt in one form or the other. The impeachment story of Bill Clinton that had taken place in 1998 is receiving a dramatization and is set to air this coming September. In the retelling of the events, producer Ryan Murphy is adapting the book of Jeffrey Toobin to dramatize the events of the Monica Lewinsky scandal. It will be a part of his Emmy-winning series and is now titled Impeachment: American Crime Story.
The drama’s plot will be centering on a national crisis and the infamous affair between Monica Lewinsky, who was then an intern at the White House, and then-President Bill Clinton. However, the series will not dwell on the various sexual graphic, which the audience already knows very well, according to the writer Sarah Burgess.
Hence, as Impeachment: American Crime Story is all set to release on the TV screens this coming month, on September 7, 2021, it looks like it is very much affecting Bill and Hillary Clinton’s demeanor. The upcoming dramatization will focus on the very scandal that had cut through their lives and resulted in a national crisis that resulted in the first impeachment proceedings, which the country has witnessed in more than a century.
Hence, while Bill and Hillary Clinton were at their stroll in the Hamptons week, it looks like they were not completely immersed in the walk. They must have been bothered about the scandal becoming a part of the public talks again. Bill Clinton had recently reached his 75th birthday last week on August 19. The exclusive photos of his walk at the beach depict that he cut out a sober figure. He was seen wearing a black T-shirt pairing it up with his blue jeans. The 42nd President of the United States was also seen sporting a baseball cap that had shielded his eyes.
Hillary Clinton was seen wearing a top with long-sleeved, blue pants with speakers. But, unfortunately, she had paired her overlook causal beach walk outlook with her sun-hat, whose brim was quite pulled down. And the accompanying sunglasses only gave away her glum demeanor.
The pair kept walking for about half a mile, and then they hit the boardwalk, where Hillary pauses to sit down. Bill then is seen going up the staircase towards what was previously the Belle estate, making a return after 10 minutes or so. Bill and Hillary Clinton then once again resume their walk for another half mile.
The concerned series which may be bothering them will air on September 7, 2021. As once the well-known scandal of Clinton-Lewinsky becomes known through its serialized dramatization, it may be the reason why Bill and Hillary may not have particularly felt rested at their Hamptons getaway.
