After the immense success of the Fantastic Beast franchise, it seems like fans cannot wait for the third film. The world of magic and wizards have done a spell on us, and we can’t wait for the upcoming movie.
Fantastic Beasts 3: Plot Changes, Cast Members, and Other Details You Need To Know
After much speculation, Warner Bros. finally announced in late April 2019 that the third film is finally scheduled to come on 12th November 2021. First, it was expected to release in 2020, but sadly enough, the filming got delayed, which led to the date moving to 2021.
Dan Fogler has justified by the film, got delayed. He said that the third film is going to be bigger than the first two films combined. This upcoming film is a gigantic one, and the creative team did not want to rush anything.
Now about the cast, as we know not all the cast is going to return from The Crimes of Grindelwald. Leta Lestrange (Zoe Kravitz) was killed while helping Newt and the gang escape. Although, the fans might get to see her in a flashback of a sort.
Other than that, Eddie Redmayne as Newt Scamander is surely returning.
Also, the other returning cast includes Jude Law in his role as the young Albus Dumbledore, along with Katherine Waterston as Tina Goldstein and Dan Fogler as Jacob Kowalski.
J.K. Rowling Making Major Changes in The Film
Screenwriter J.K Rowling is also working on the script and making some changes in it. The second movie was a bit of a disappointment and received a cold reaction from fans and critics. It is possible that maybe the creative team is working harder due to the earlier frustration that the second film brought with it.
As Dan Fogler has revealed, the shooting for this film is going to be in Brazil. As per the plot is concerned, according to the previous two films, it may trace the Grindelwald’s followers around the world while they search for a way to break the blood pact.
David Yates is going to continue with the franchise as the director. The producer has said he would want David to continue with all the five films. Jude Law had a small role in the second film, which can expand in the upcoming movie. Let us see who all returns for the third film as well.
