The finale of the previous season has managed to keep the viewers on the edge of their seats. In an intense scene, we see Hanna being protected by Marissa from the ones who want to end her life. The duo realizes that they share a deep connection. Their connection is just like a mother and a daughter, and this scene gives an emotional ode to their bond.
But injured Marissa takes her last breath, and Hanna is seen moving on in her life with a heavy heart. She then settles in Boston. She is seen bidding adieu to Nadiya and Abbas as she decides to live on her own in the new city. The end was beautifully depicted, and the series managed to cover every element, from choosing what’s truly right or wrong to self-discovery and parental dynamics.
