Penthouse is a South Korean TV series written by Kim Soon-Ok and directed by Joo Dong-min. Here’s a review for its third season. This K-Drama Series titled The Penthouse: War in Life is rated 8.8 on IMDb. The genre of the series is drama, suspense, crime, thriller, and revenge. So, if you like these types of genres, then you can surely try watching The Penthouse.
After the second season of the show, expectations were quite high. Unexpectedly, this installment couldn’t withstand those expectations. The plot wasn’t good, and the characters also seemed to be bored with the storyline. The pace with which Penthouse started has decreased. Now, all we see is repetition.
It’s definitely hard to keep the viewers invested in the show at all times. Familiarity in the concept sometimes intrigues the viewers and other times leaves them losing their interests. This is the reason why new seasons of successful shows lose their balance.

Our Take
The series somehow manages to bring a smile to the face of its viewers despite the unfortunate things happening at Hera Palace. Though some sort of boredom will be there while watching the show, you can go for it. If you’ve seen the first two seasons of the show, then you should definitely watch it to clear your doubts. And, if you’ll start watching the show from the beginning, it would be better to skip this season.
