Fury reunites with a Skrull named Talos (Ben Mendelsohn), who has been posing as him on Earth. The episode occurs in a small town where a young girl named Amelia suddenly exhibits powers and emits mysterious energy. Garnering the unwanted sparks the attention of S.W.O.R.D.
Agents from S.W.O.R.D. The determined Monica Rambeau (Teyonah Parris) and her partner Jimmy Woo (Randall Park) arrive at the scene to investigate the strange alterations. Only to discover by the end of their intelligence that Amelia’s parents were Skrull impostors who have taken their place, adding to the growing spiral of mysteries.
As the episode progresses, it becomes evident that the Secret Invasion, a plan by the Skrulls to infiltrate and take over Earth, has started. Fury and Talos join forces to uncover the extent of the Skrull invasion and discover who can not be trusted.
