The hospital has become a plague site of a bacterial outbreak, and several patients lost their lives fighting it. The staff is trying to find the cause, but they cannot stop the panic the outbreak created. The experimental drugs from the 50s were used on the patients, which miraculously worked. The staff finally finds the root of the problem, the ice machine used by the hospital used.
After the situation got better, Dr. Goodwin and Dr. Sharpe said their goodbyes to the hospital staff as the pair departed for London.
