Jennifer Lawrence heads back to screens as the lead in ‘No Hard Feelings,’ a new comedy movie. Sony is betting big that Jennifer Lawrence, with an almost unbelievable tale, will help their picture become a smashing blockbuster. Over the previous few years, comedies have performed poorly at the box office, and Lawrence has kept somewhat out of the limelight. This did not deter Sony from spending to distribute the comedy and predominantly placing it in theaters with the expectation that ‘No Hard Feelings’ would prove to be a box office hit.
The Oscar-winning actress is teaming up with the director of the successful comedy Good Boys for an R-rated comedy, which will be released amid many of the year’s most anticipated new films in the thick of the summer smash season. Here is all that you want to find out about No Hard Feelings.
OTT Release Date for No Hard Feelings
After its cinematic run, ‘No Hard Feelings’ will be available on an OTT platform. Sony distributes the 2023 comedy, although the studio fails to offer its streaming platform.
This includes the agreement reached between Sony and Netflix in late 2021, resulting in Netflix being the first destination for all Sony films after theaters and PVOD. Therefore, No Hard Feelings will be available on Netflix US on 21st October 2023.
The Plot
Lawrence plays Maddie in No Hard Feelings, a lady who makes horrible life decisions. She stumbles across an intriguing employment post as she realizes she will have to leave her childhood home.
Percy Becker is a 19-year-old youngster about to start college. According to the movie, Percy’s parents desire their kids to understand what takes place in college. They employ Maddie in return for a car, and she pushes the shy adolescent to drink, party, and do other things.
No Hard Feelings: Cast
No Hard Feelings is directed as well as co-written by Gene Stupnitsky. This is only his 2nd feature picture after Good Boys in 2019. However, Stupnitsky has previously directed and written for many episodes of The Office. His additional work credits involve Hello Ladies, Year One, and Bad Teacher.
The star ensemble includes Jennifer Lawrence as Maddie, Andrew Barth Feldman portraying Percy, Laura Benanti as Allison, Matthew Broderick as Laird, Natalie Morales as Sara, Ebon Moss-Bachrach as Gary, Scott MacArthur as Jim, and others. It is an R-rated comedy film with widespread acclaim from reviewers and audiences.
