The Umbrella Academy is a superhero series adapt by Steve Blackman. Following the footsteps of other Series adapt from a literary source like the walking dead adapt from a graphic novel. And one punch man adapt from a manga series. Umbrella academy adapt from a comic book of the same name that Gabriel Ba and Gerald way wrote. This Netflix Original series has two seasons and 20 episodes, each of the seasons containing ten episodes each. The first season premier on February 15, 2019, and the second season premier on July 31, 2020.
We have good news for all the fans who are waiting for the third season of The Umbrella Academy. The Series is going to renew for its third part. As the other parts experience positive responses from the critics and the audience. The production of season 3 is already in progress, and fans are already predicting what’s next for the Netflix Hargreeves Family.
What is the Plot of the Series?
The Series revolves around seven children who were part of a bigger phenomenon where 43 women gave birth to kids; fun fact, these women were never pregnant. Crazy? Later seven of them adopted by Reginald Hargreeves, and later they become superheroes. United, they are called ‘The Umbrella academy.’ However, Reginald gave them numbers instead of names their mother, who also crazy enough is a robot, gives them- Luther, Klaus, Allison, Five, Ben, Vanya, and Diego. All of them, except for Vanya, are involve in fighting against crime. The reason, well, she doesn’t have power.
What is the Expected Release Date?
Like other seasons of the Series, the third season will also release with ten episodes. The news of the new season of Umbrella academy surfaced on the internet is through Twitter. In November 2020, the Umbrella academy’s official Twitter account announced the filming of the new season. The show started shooting in Toronto somewhere in February. However, there is still no tentative date for the season 3 release. And also, there is no teaser or trailer for season 3 release by Netflix. Tom Hopper (one of the cast members of the Series) said that there is still a very long way to go, and we all know that means not any time soon in normal terms. The filming of the Series may be affected by the COVID also. However, the cast and crew are following the COVID protocol.
What are the Expected Cast Members of Umbrella Academy Season 3?
Elliot Page as Vanya, and Number Seven converts sound waves into a destructive force. David Castaneda as Diego, and Number Two has super strength having an ape-like body. Tom Hopper as Luther, Number One, curve the trajectory of anything he throws. Emmy Raver-Lampman as Allison, the Number Three control minds of the people.
Robert Sheehan as Klaus, Number Four, communicate with dead people. Aidan Gallagher as Five, and Five can travel in time. Justin H. Min as Ben, Number Six, unleash huge tentacles from his body. Colm Feore as Reginald Hargreeves.
However odd the Series is, the fact is it is a lot of entertainment, and I can bet you cannot stop after watching initial episodes.
