The Great is the historical fiction drama that recently aired its season 2 on November 19 and has not failed to gather positive reviews. Based on the life of Catherine The Great hailing from Russia, the series was created by Tony McNamara.

Towards the end of season 2, we see tensions start to build between Catherine and her husband, Peter II, as the latter comes to know about her mother’s death. The Queen even tries killing Peter and sobs heavily but realizes it was just a lookalike of Peter she killed, and the couple hugs towards the end.
What can be expected from season 3 is that it will pick up from where the previous season ended. Owing to Joannah’s death and the situations surrounding it, Catherine and Peter would continue to face tensions in their marriage.
