Episode 7 Highlights
In the seventh episode of the series, we can see that Garrett’s strategy, it turns out, is a major strategy, including enticing Jamie to run for reelection while living with Christina and to parent their children. His goal with Jamie is to obtain influence in government over the Duttons, not only putting pressure on John.
Episode 7 also laid the foundation for a long struggle involving Beth and Market Stocks, who had curiously invited her from their most exclusive meetings and discussions. Beth will need to build friendships with Summer and Angele, who is also an artist, in order to fend against the danger of westward expansion by the political powers and mean officials.
Beth Makes an Important Revelation
Beth, after bashing her State assistant, visits a Financial Ventures conference. For perhaps the first time, she discovers the enormity of Stock Equities’ growth objectives. Initially, Beth had presumed the airfield Investor wanted to develop a Park-City-like house in the region, taking up real estate just beyond the Yellowstone. She’s extremely startled by this and had to make a special trip to have a reason.
On her way out, she spots Summer fighting fur. After punishing Summer and laying out her rebellion inefficacy, Beth thinks she might use an accomplice. She presents the Stock Ventures proposal in aspects of animal protection; Beth advises Summer to dedicate her efforts towards delaying the building. Summer appears pleased.
Governor Perry Decides To Resign
Perry drops over to notify John that she is competing for the Montana senate and is putting her seat up for a Dutton John, although expressing some amount of confidence in Jamie for his research into System designs, states that Jamie’s elevation would be catastrophic for the Duttons and Montana. John Replies he will accept the official’s support instead and fight for the seat.
Beth eventually approves the choice; John requires reassuring how it’s John’s only option of rescuing the farm: he’ll need to stop land expansion and find a strategy to push out Stock Ventures.
Jamie Plots Revenge
Jamie, on the other hand, feels the victory should be his after meeting with Garrett Randall. Before visiting John and Beth at the capitol building, he’s even ready to accept Perry’s approval. As Jamie begins to move forward to accept the promotion, Perry reveals John’s title instead, in an excessively stunning approach.
Jamie also seemed to have joined Team Garrett after learning that Garrett attempted to assassinate John; he will keep Garrett’s truth from John and will most certainly run opposing him. The battle has begun, and stay tuned to know what’s gonna happen next and who will win this game.
