Monthly promotion consideration is provided to eligible staff sergeants (E-5) through senior master sergeants (E-8), whose promotion files include weighted data that has changed from the previous month.

Also eligible for in-system extra consideration are Airmen who take the exam after the first choices have been determined, Airmen who are deployed, and anybody else who was unable to take the test within the standard testing window.
