Famous American procedural drama TV show called 911: Lone Star revolves around the fictitious company 126 and its fire, police, and ambulance departments, all situated in Austin, Texas. Texas, being known as the Lone Star State, gives its name to the series as titled 911 Lone Star. With show creators Ryan Murphy, Brad Falchuk, and Tim Minear, the series was made for fox and is basically a spin-off for the TV show 911.
Fox asked for the show in May 2019, and the series hit the screens on January 19, 2020. In April 2020, Fox announced a new season for the show to make its debut on January 18, 2021. Last year in May, the show got a third season announced for release scheduled on January 3, 2022.

911: Lone Star highlights the life of an experienced NY firefighter who moves from Manhattan, NY to Austin, Texas, along with his son. The series shows how he struggles to keep a balance in his life while performing his duties to save lives and deal with his own personal problems. However, it is not alone in this, and it is accompanied by more firefighters and members of the Police department and Emergency Medical Services.
When will Season 3 of 911: Lone Star Release?
If you look at the previous seasons, 911 lone star released its first season in January 2020 and the second and April 2020. However, it was last year in May when Fox renewed the show for the third season setting its release in January this year.
The third season of 911 lone star hits the screens this January 3, 2022. Some time back, the show went on a short hiatus due to the NFL football streaming, but thankfully, it resumed and was back on schedule.

Undoubtedly most of the main cast be back on the show reprising their roles. So, we will continue seeing Rob Lowe in the role of Owen Strand, with Gina Torres as Tommy Vega and Ronen Rubinstein as Tyler Kennedy “TK” Strand. We will also see Jim Parrack back as Judson “Judd” Ryder, with Sierra McClain as Grace Ryde and Natacha Karam as Marjan Marwani.
The remaining of the cast includes Brian Michael Smith playing Paul Strickland, Julian Works in the role of Mateo Chavez, and Brianna Baker as Nancy Gillia. Billy Burke will further accompany them as Captain Billy Tyson and Rafael Silva as Carlos Reyes.
However, according to the deadline, the fans couldn’t see Liv Tyler in season 2 due to the covid 19 pandemic, but now it seems that Gina Torres, who replaced Liv for the lead, will continue playing in this new chapter Tommy.
