Enola Holmes is a young adult mystery film that released in 2020. Directed by Harry Bradbeer, Enola Homes garnered popularity due to its association with Sherlock Holmes and its interesting storyline. Enola Holmes is the story of a young girl who belongs to the infamous Holmes family and is the younger sister of Sherlock Holmes. She becomes a detective and finds a purpose in life as she crusades through various mysteries around her.
Her first success as a detective was when she solves the mystery of Tewkesbury and realizes her hidden potential. The sequel to the film was officially announced this year on May 13, 2021, and is all set to go on floors shortly and will be releasing on Netflix just like the first film. The expected storyline of Enola Holmes 2 is expected to be a continuation of the first part, showing Enola’s journey after she left Tewkesbury after meeting her mother. If sources are to be believed, since the film is based on the book by the same name, Enola Holmes 2 can be based on Nancy Springer’s book Enola Holmes: The Case of the Left-Handed Lady.
So the expected plot can be Enola trying to decode the mystery of a young girl who has disappeared, and she tries to find cues after discovering the girl’s book of drawings. Millie Bobbie Brown is set to resume her role of Enola Holmes along with Henry Cavill, who plays the role of Sherlock. The trailer of Enola Holmes 2 is not out yet; however, the series is renewing for a 2nd part which is a few months away from release. Official announcements can be made if any change in the release date/post-production has not been declared yet. If sources are to be believed, Enola Holmes might release during the mid of 2022.
The trailer is expected to be released online, and the movie will be released on Netflix. However, the theatrical release might not be there in many countries due to the pandemic, and it is yet to see if the film gets released on any other OTT platforms.
