The movie was set in 2500 when the sea levels went above 8200 meters, and all the continents were underwater. The human civilization was endangered; people believed in a cosmic ‘Dryland’ which supposedly existed where the ocean ended.

The Mariner, a rare find, is all by himself on his boat and is engaged in trading dirt. The people residing in the atoll see that the Mariner is a mutated creature and decide to drown him in their compost pit. The atolls are under attack from Smokers, who are searching for a girl named Enola, who has a tattoo on her back that shows the way to the Dryland. Enola, on the other hand, is trying to escape with the Mariner along with Gregor.

Helen, on the other hand, questions the Mariner regarding the source of the dirt that he sells. He shows her the location deep under the ocean, and once they return to the surface, they are surrounded by Smokers. They are rescued by Gregor.

They later discover the tattoo on Enola’s back and head to the Dryland. The Dryland had wildlife and vegetation and was situated on the peak of Mount Everest. They also find a hut with the belongings of Enola’s parents. The Mariner says that he is a man of the ocean and cannot survive on land. Hence he builds a new boat and goes back to the water. Enola and Helen stay on the Dryland and share their goodbyes with him.

The only word in the dictionary which can describe Lokesh well is "Curious". He is a man who sits in the corner of a café, sipping his coffee and watch others and write about them having a good time. Addicted to bettering himself each day. An impressive introvert who finds his home in the places he travels. It's either the power of universe or sunsets that sets his soul free. In between, He can be found wrapped in his own bubble, knitting stories even before the sun rises!
