The New Daughter has a 5.3/10 IMDb score. With a 33% Rotten Tomatoes ratings, the chills, thrills, and horror of the movie work alright, but it certainly lacks some distinguishing elements. Kevin Costner’s performance as John James and the cinematography is some of the cherishable elements. Checco Varese’s cinematography is extremely well-crafted.

Even, Javier Navarrete’s suspenseful and thrilling musical score is a delight. But, the situations and character development are not very well developed, encompassing clichés in excess, and unreasonable attitudes. But, The New Daughter is still a watchable horror-thriller, with scares that render you at the edge of your seat. You could easily include it in your Halloween marathon. It is a gorgeously shot film, where are the nights are ominous of the horrors that follow.

You can give it a try, and if you are a Kevin Costner fan, the movie will appeal to you nonetheless. The New Daughter is 2009, horror-thriller movie, available for streaming on Amazon Prime Video.

The only word in the dictionary which can describe Lokesh well is "Curious". He is a man who sits in the corner of a café, sipping his coffee and watch others and write about them having a good time. Addicted to bettering himself each day. An impressive introvert who finds his home in the places he travels. It's either the power of universe or sunsets that sets his soul free.
