The protagonist Nat Love (portrayed by Jonathan Majors) transforms from a timid young boy into a feared outlaw and hitman when he sees his parents murdered by outlaw Rufus Buck (portrayed by Idris Elba). He grows up to ultimately seek revenge from the culprit who killed his parents.
The film showcases several fight scenes with weapons and guns, several train and bank robberies, stunt scenes with horses, etc., that have been incredibly staged than ever before. Another character truly justifying his role is Elba, who performs Rufus’s confident and cynical role, worth every wait. Elba exceptionally handles his character buildup by Samuel and makes it worthwhile to watch him onscreen.
