Like a generic holiday movie, the Christmas ball is about everything a feel-good movie is. This movie focuses on the romance blooming between two people and how they go about their relationship.
The story follows a ballerina who is dropped out of her Christmas act which makes her go to her aunt’s place for the holidays. There she meets this guy with whom the romance starts building. You can find what the movie is about below.
Synopsis of the Movie
The ballerina Clare Fitzgerald has to leave her dance the Christmas Nutcracker due to certain unexpected situations. She is completely heartbroken, and to escape the sad reality, and she visits her aunt Bridget, who lives in England. There she happens to meet a professor named Liam, who is also helping aunt Bridget with the family manor.
Because of their family tradition of holding Christmas balls at the manor, Clare suggests that they should do the same this year. Once her aunt accepts it, Clare and Liam start working together on their new mission. Lifetime has been coming up with new holiday movies, which is similar to the classic holiday movies we have grown up with. All we want for Christmas is some warm heart-touching movies with a happy ending, and this movie is exactly that.
The Cast of the Movie
The Christmas Ball movie starts with Deidre Mullins as Clare Fitzgerald, Nick Hendrix as Professor Liam, and Caroline Langrishe as Aunt Bridget in lead roles. There are Richard Lintern as Jack O’Keefe, Lana Lujic as Emma, Tara Tomasic as Ava, and Ivan Marks as Daniel in the supporting cast.
Deidre Mullins, an Irish actress, some of her notable works include Naomi in ‘Man Down’ and Dark Mile, for which she won a BAFTA (British Academy Of Film and Television Arts) award. Nick Hendrix, a British actor- his notable works include Detective Sergeant Jamie Winter in Midsomer Murders.
Some of the great performers in this movie which mean that we are up for something good. Lifetime, as usual, brings together a diverse cast to present a story as authentic as possible. To watch how the performances will go we have to wait some more time.
