How can anyone ever forget the witty and Charming Tyrion Lannister from Game Of Thrones played by Peter Dinklage? I am not surprised why director Joe Wright chose Peter Dinklage to play the role of a charming, skilled and clever repartee in the 2021 movie, Cyrano.
The movie opened in theatres on December 31, 2021, in New York and Los Angeles. While the release date has been shifted to a much further date in many of the countries like the United States. The UK has the release date set to February 25, 2022.
Set in the amazing 17th-century French backdrop, it’s a blessing to your eyes with beautiful cinematography and lavish costumes. This will make you forget the misogynistic and capitalistic part of the time and make you want to go back in time and fall in love. On top of an active volcano and wear beautiful gowns that will flow behind you while you struggle to breathe.
Plot
“Cyrano” or “Cyranoing”, translates to a nerdy guy helping a handsome dude to get the girl through words and actions. He would rather do it if he had the courage and this basically covers most of the plot.
The protagonist, Cyrano, played by Peter Dinklage is a charmer in every way- but one, his short stature. And this stops him from confessing his love to Roxxane, his very good friend who has fallen in love with the handsome Christian at first sight.
So, he does what every lovelorn nerd does in most romantic movies, help the other guy get the girl.
Is it Available on Netflix?
While Netflix has become the streaming giant that it is today, it still doesn’t have Cyrano and might not have it any time soon. As it still hasn’t been released in many parts of the world, the movie might only be available after the theatrical run of the film for some time.
Is it Available on Hulu?
Unfortunately no, it is not available on Hulu. So far it has been released exclusively on theatres in New York and Los Angeles. There has been no announcement of it airing on Hulu as of yet.
