Angela Jolie and Brad Pitt’s divorce case is just getting dirtier. The case is getting worse each and every day despite Jolie’s efforts. However, the couple got married in 2014 and filed for a divorce in 2016. When asked about the reason, Jolie says that there were irreconcilable differences between the two. Moreover, the actress said that she had taken this step for the sake of her children.
Angelina Jolie Requests to Remove the Presiding Judge from Her Divorce Case
In August, Angelina Jolie requested to remove the judge presiding over their divorce case, John W. Ouderkirk. She stated that Ouderkirk is biased and raised concerns over his abilities to conclude the case. Moreover, she repeatedly doubted his capacity to remain impartial. But the court denied Julie’s requested and said that Ouderkirk will proceed with the couple’s divorce case; because he has a long history with the two.
The Judge is Biased
Judge John W. Ouderkirk was the one who married Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie in 2014. However, Jolie has raised concerns for the judge for his biased attitude every now and then. Besides that, Jolie’s lawyers also claim that Ouderkirk failed to make timely obligatory revelations of enduring professional relationships between himself. On the other hand, Pitt’s lawyers suggest that all these allegations are false and Ouderkirk is impartial. Moreover, they called this Jolie’s act of delaying the court hearing. They said that she attempts to adjourn the settlement of the pending custody issues in the divorce case.
She is not Happy with the Decision
Although we don’t know what Ouderkirk’s involvement in the case means for Brad Pitt, it is definitely not good news for Angelina Jolie. She is quite unhappy with him proceeding with the case.
