Body of Lies is a movie that falls under spy thriller categories and is based on the same book named Body of Lies written by David Ignatius. The movie that Warner Bros. Pictures distributed also collaborated with Ridley Scott’s Scott Free Productions and Donald De Line’s De Line Pictures.

The movie was released on October 10, 2008, with a whole total of 128 minutes running time. The movie director is none other than the great Ridley Scott, the mighty director of Gladiator. You can imagine how spectacular the movie would be.

What is the Plot of Body of Lies (2008)?

The movie’s protagonist is Roger Ferris, a CIA officer who joins hands with his boss Ed Hoffman to keep Nizar, a member of a terrorist organization, in exchange for information. Both of the officers are on a hunt to track down another terrorist named Al-Saleem. After overcoming some rough patches of their mission, Ferris and his associate Bassam go to Jordan, searching for Al-Saleem.

Ed Hoffman finally gets information about the terrorist from Balad that he is currently in Jordan. Ferris and Bassam continue to negotiate with the Jordanian General Intelligence Directorate head for further information. The rest of the plot follows bombings and fights in different locations, escalating the movie’s tensions. Guys, watch Body of Lies (2008) for more twist and turns that brings us to another level.

What is the Cast of Body of Lies (2008)?

The Ridley Scott movie never ceases to amaze the audience with his perfect taste for the perfect cast and crew. The very talented Leonardo DiCaprio plays the role of CIA officer Roger Ferris. A Ridley Scott masterpiece will always have Russell Crowe. He plays Ed Hoffman, the chief of the CIA. British actor Mark Strong acts as Hani Salaam, the Jordanian General Intelligence Directorate director.

Oscar Isaac plays Bassam, the associate of Ferris. Alon Abutbul and Mehdi Nebbou plays the role of terrorists Al-Saleem and Nizar, respectively. Iranian actress Golshifteh Farahani is Aisha, Ferris romantic interest.
