The story of the movie is the same as that of the book. The setting is at the town of Little Wesley. Vic Van Allen and Melinda Van Allen are the loveless married couple who see their marriage struggling with time. As Melinda starts to have an affair, Vic starts to get jealous and angry. So he decides to bring the spark between them and win her back and he tries psychological warfare to do this.
