Killer Cheer Mom revolves around Riley’s high school girl, who moves to a new town with her father and her stepmom. Riley (Courtney Fulk) tries out for the cheerleader squad despite knowing that there is enough competition.
But the story takes a huge turn; when all the cheerleaders in the squad start getting expelled or injured under suspicious circumstances. Meanwhile, Riley thinks that her stepmom, Amanda (Denise Richards), will do anything to let Riley in the cheer squad. Finally, Amanda’s husband and Riley’s father, James, say that they will shift back to Chicago if Riley isn’t happy in the new town. However, Amanda has a lot of secrets back there, and moving back to Chicago is the last thing she will do in her life.

In an interview, Denise Richards revealed that she always wanted to do girl next door kind of roles. Henceforth, she couldn’t say no when she got a chance to play Amanda in Killer Cheer Mom.
